Optimum B2B
Optimum Business is a telecom company, servicing mostly out in east coast, offering services like high speed internet, phone, mobile, and TV. Their main audience were small business owners, and we were tasked to attract and connect with them.
2022 Q4 CAMPAIGN: “GET CLOSER, GO FARTHER”
The Q4 campaign was something very special as it was tied to the launch of the new branding. We were given this new tagline, “Get closer, go father,” by the brand team and began to concept our campaign around it. For B2B, this line sold the idea that each small business can thrive by working with other small businesses. So we imagined the growth of a small business owner and what her career journey to big success would be like in the most extreme, yet realistic way.
2022 Q3 CAMPAIGN: “ICE CREAM”
We were asked to showcase multiple small business owners, and we certainly weren’t going to put together a loose montage of stock videos as these B2B commercials tend to be. We had multiple scenarios and scripts and finally landed on this—We decided to tell a simple story of an ice cream shop owner on a mission to create bubblegum flavored ice cream.
Upon receiving the call from her loyal patrons, we follow her journey in connecting with multiple other small businesses to make it happen. We follow her to a candy shop, where she purchases and tests many different kinds of bubblegums; to the graphic designer sending her the new flavor announcement visual; to connecting with the local dairy farmer who makes sure he can supply the best cream they can offer. And all of these interactions are possible, swift and easy, with Optimum Business.
Through all these interactions and collaborations of multiple small businesses, we get this, the humble ice cream—the summer staple treat and late night snack. People often don’t think about all the hands that went in to creating something, and we really wanted to show was the length of meticulous detail and effort put in by small business owners. So, this isn’t just ice cream, it’s passions and prides of many.
