TOYOTA SCION

Scion heavily invested time and money into supporting emerging artists and musicians. They've hosted galleries, concerts, and we were asked to create every video from event announcement, coverage, interviews, and even digital ads for their limited edition cars.

SCION METRO

On a monthly bases, Scion pulled together free shows with up and coming DJ’s from the US/EU. We were tasked to convert printed flyers into video pieces that would be utilized to promote these shows on various social channels.

WASABI LIMITED EDITION

Before social became a thing, we created fun animated videos for YouTube and Myspace to promote their limited edition car, Electric Wasabi XD.

FLUX SUPER 8: TEASER

Flux Super 8 is the first annual showcase that celebrates eight of the most exciting and emerging filmmakers, video artists, and design collectives from around the world. The inaugural Flux Super 8 will launch at the SCION Installation Gallery where each artist will develop site-specific installations created for the exhibition. Taking footage from various artists, we created a teaser/announcement video jam packed with what's in store at the gallery. 

THIS MUST BE THE PLACE: INTERVIEW

"This Must Be The Place", curated by Faesthetic magazine, featured a collection of art and oddities by eight American artists inspired by the zine's minimally toned aesthetic. Featuring work from Gluekit, Maxwell Loren Holyoke-Hirsch, Damien Correll, Joel Speasmaker, Matt Curry, Skull Phone, Dan Funderburgh and Jemma Hostetler, the acclaimed multimedia artists and designers explore the theme of "home" with the loose limitation of a two-toned color palette.

VICE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT TRAILER

VICE partnered with Scion and held their ninth annual photo show at Scion’s Installation L.A. Gallery. Best known for documenting youthful excess, questionable street fashion and powerful scenes of political unrest around the world, VICE enlisted curator and magazine contributor Amy Kellner to present this exhibition in conjunction with their annual issue. The exhibition featured works of VICE contributors Jamie Lee Curtis Taete, Maggie Lee, and former Vice photo editor, Tim Barber. 

SCION A/V

Scion allowed us to create a series of interviews with various DJs and musicians while they host these free shows to the public. Starting from legends who were part of Chicago house music scene like Roy Davis Jr. to more recent electronic musicians like Steve Aoki. Altogether, I helped create 19 of these videos and it was fun getting to know the people behind the music.
